Theres a nice story behind this strain named after Hall of fame Basketball player Gary Payton. Berner explains he sat at a table with the breeders Powerzzzup genetics and they came up with Gary Payton. Soon after they were having a meeting over the name with mutual friends of Gary Payton and the next thing you know there is a strain name now after this NBA Legend. We were lucky enough to buy an eighth of the Gary Payton weed strain for $35.00 with tax at the music festival Outside Lands. We bought it directly from the Cookies area located at Grass Lands. We also purchased their Gelatti strain which we plan on writing a review on it too.
This new strain from Cookies is top of the line with flavor, some of the best-tasting weed seriously. Upon hitting, it's super smooth and super tasty of some clean cannabis.
I couldn't believe we actually got a single 3.5-gram nug for our eighth of the Gary Payton strain. This was much more impressive than the tiny nugs wer got with the Gelatti strain. This nug is really the definition of a golf ball hard. It felt great to break it apart because a tiny piece easily broke into a sizable amount. It's much easier to break weed up from one big nug.
Although we were lucky enough to get an eighth of this premium new strain from Cookies for $35 with tax, others are reporting that they paid much higher. Ive seen people comment online that they paid $55 an eighth for Cookies strains at the music festival Outsidelands.
