This Stiiizy review includes my experience trying this brand since its release in 2017, however, the rating is on their latest cartridges. After only a couple of years, this company has gone through some changes with their distillate. If you were lucky enough to try them a couple of years ago it was a true treat. Their incredibly high THC distillate oil is what helped establish their position in the cannabis market as a best seller. The Stiiizy brand innovated their own unique vape cartridge for THC oil and label it the Stiiizy Pod.
Their first distillate oil was almost as transparent as water and super thick. I remember just a hint shade of yellow as the color of the first THC oil inside of Stiiizy Pods. We recently purchased 5 different strains from Stiiizy noticed a complete revamp with the flavors and strength. The color of their distillate oil also changed to amber. Their flavor profiles are completely different from what they used to be, and I would have preferred they kept it.
There has been fake Stiiizy pods discovered for sale in both licensed and unlicensed bay area dispensaries. Another controversial with this brand is an independent lab test which showed Stiiizy testing positive for benzene. There is an argument the Stiiizy cartridge tested was a fake. Proving its not safe to buy fake Stiiizy cartridges.
The release of a bigger more powerful Stiiizy battery was also released. Their new bigger vape battery has 550maH power capacity, this is more than double the power of regular Stiiizy pen options. I've seen this bigger Stiiizy battery for sale at $40 on average in bay area dispensaries. We did not get a chance to use the new bigger vape battery for this Stiiizy review, the only difference is the larger power capacity. There is still no ability to change the temperature setting for any Stiiizy vape battery. According to their website, the bigger Stiiizy battery hits at 3.4 volts.
Stiiizy pods are made from plastic and are not meant to be refilled. These are disposable vape cartridges that provide excellent hits, but can have some problems too. The hits from Stiiizy cartridges are great when its not clogged. I experience myself having to pull hard on the Stiiizy pod so that it could unclog and provide a hit. Although I primed the Stiiizy cartridge and it provided effortless big hits, it soon became clogged and wasn’t hitting anymore.
The introduction of the Stiiizy pods lead to other cannabis oil cartridges making the switch to their own pods. Other alternative pod options for THC oil is the Pax Era and Plug Play Vape. Soon after the CCELL Dart Pods entered the cannabis oil market for vaping. What all these pods have in common is that they can survive drops because of being made out of plastic instead of glass.
I've tried the majority of the Stiiizy pods available including their latest releases Power Punch and their version of skittles called rainbow candy. The flavors are tasteful enough to enjoy and not complain about being too strong. The flavors are good but not as great as they once were with the previous strains such as Blue Dream and Sour Tangie. The strength itself is enough to justify the $35 average price tag for a half gram Stiiizy cartridges. There are no refillable Stiiizy pods available and they do not recommend trying.
Although they discourage against refilling their Stiiizy pods, it can be done and works quite well. I tried refilling Stiiizy pods multiple times to find the limit and learned the max is one refill. After refilling a Stiiizy cartridge for a second time it started to clog easily and THC oil would go through the mouthpiece. We discovered empty Stiiizy pods available for sale online, these are not for sale by Stiiizy and instead is from manufactured in China. This Stiiizy review taught me that it's important to buy empty vape cartridges instead of reusing old used cartridges, however, it's possible to reuse a Stiiizy pod at least once.
The Stiiizy vape pen is very smooth and compact, so much in fact it can be easy to get lost. I've personally lost more than a few Stiiizy pens in the last couple of years. The solution to losing the Stiiizy vape pen is their lanyard that can go around your neck and provide lost, this can be bought on the official Stiiizy website. The average price for a Stiiizy pen is $20-$30.00.
Wondering about these two similar vape pens for hash oil? These vape pens both use pods but hit very different. Those who are after the most intense high will favor Stiiizy cartridges for their strength and ability to take huge hits. Those who prefer a high they can control with a low tolerance will prefer Pax Era pods. While there are plenty of strains and flavors available for Stiiizy, the Pax Era works with many cannabis extraction teams to provide way more different strain options.
Beware of fake Stiiizy pods for sale. I am sure many of the negative reviews left on their weedmaps page is from confusion with fake Stiiizy cartridges. They have switched to an updated packaging to counter the fakes. Their latest packaging has their Stiiizy logo inside of it instead of foam. Also, they discontinued the previous packaging before that with the black plastic flaps. Avoid buying from a person selling them on snap chat or Instagram and not charging for the taxes or offering a lower than normal price.
My favorite features discovered in this Stiiizy review is the discreteness and compact design of this concentrate pen. It does not look like a typical wax vaporizer, instead its sleek and looks like a Juul pen. The reasons why I first fell in love with Stiiizy are no longer there, many superior THC oil pods have surfaced such as Plug Play vape and once again the CCELL Dart pod.
